A fight is about to take place in Maloney's Acre between two combatants. Ultimately, one will win and one will lose. The winner is given an opportunity to choose anyone in the crowd to fight.
'Anyone' being Shane Longshadow.

For your consideration...
Upon reading the episode, you may have already noticed how desaturated the art looks. A general lack of color overall.
The town of Mercy is a very dreary place, a shadow of its former glory. You, the reader, will see that as Shane progresses, more color returns to the scene, ultimately becoming more solid with each passing episode.
So basically, the more Shane fights, the more colorful his surroundings become.
Love the way you started by just having the inks, then feed subtle washes of colour through them and built right through until the colour was really prominent in that last panel. Really effective.
This comic is awesome. 0w0
This is the story about a man named Shane Longshadow. When he was 8, his Father, Jack Hannigan, was killed in a match by his rival, Colm Shaughnessy. To protect him and his brother, their Mother had a family member take them back to America to hide and to give them a chance at life.
15 years later after dedicating his life to fighting in various deadly styles, Shane, along with his brother, Colin, heads back to Mercy, Ireland to settle the score with Colm once and for all.
And so unfolds the tale of one man’s journey to deliver the most brutal beatdown ever witnessed in human history to a man who completely and totally deserves it.
The Prologue is a story that's already been around for a bit, but the events that take place afterwards will debut on 3/17/15.
