Kyle's like "you got so mad at me for 'using' you when we were doing the hangout/makeout thing and now you're like 'yea right now we're boyfriends but it probably won't last." Also hone in on one of Kyle's biggest flaws: he interprets a situation one way, and then gets too upset to really listen to find out what is going on from the other person's POV.
To Kyle's credit, the idea of things not working out between him and Ryan is upsetting for multiple reasons. He loves Ryan and Ryan makes him happy and he doesn't like the idea of not having that, but also, his relationship has cost him a lot of the stability in his life. Like, he might not have had particularly kind, supportive, or loving parents, but he did have a home and a family. It's like he told his counselor back in "Starting to Get Better": he's worried that if things end, then what will he have sacrificed that for?
Anyway, babes have stuff to work through, but on the bright side Kyle usually gets over it when he's frustrated with Ryan pretty quickly so just, like, hold on a bit. ;)
The sass from Kyle is real lol I love it. But I also get Ryan's point, when something good is happening then that small doubt comes and it's like, it won't last, something bad is gonna happen and it will all fall apart. But you two can do this!
Kyle Williams always tried to do what his parents expected of him. He studied, he worked, he went to church. But then, during his senior year of high school, he realized that he was in love with one of his friends. That in and of itself would defy his parents' rules and expectations. Here's what happened next...
