"Ehh the hell? A flower?"
tha-dump
"Whoah! That caught me off guard!...My heart just jumped.....I hope my anxiety isn't getting worse."
*Sigh*
"Of course it is....I haven't been worried at all lately. That is...until he came into the picture."
"Ugh...and I've felt so sick lately. Maybe I should start taking my anxiety medication again......"
"Yellow and white...I wonder what kind of flower this is.." I twirled the flower in my hand.
"Fuck! class!" I clenched the flower lightly and ran.
"Luke will you please stop staring at me?.." I whispered to him in the middle of class, very annoyed. "Something is up with you." He whispered back. "Anyway, you are lucky the teacher was distracted when you came in." He gazed down at the flower. "That Jordan dude stalled her." I felt my face get hot.
"That so?" I said stuttering.
I held the flower in my hand.
I thought to myself, "I shouldn't be so happy because a guy gave me a flower should I?.....I mean it's weird right?"
I snuck a look behind me.
This time when I was met with those golden eyes, and slight smile, I felt a tingling sensation throughout my entire body.
"And why does he want me to do these twelve "tasks?"
I put my hand to my cheek. "I'm burning up.""
"Oh...well.... whatever. If they are all like going to a simple basketball game then I will just grit my teeth and bare it. Then get my book and pictures back and my life and mind go back to normal. Oh! and my body, all of this stress had caused me to be nauseous, and apparently i'm running a stress fever too!"
"Something is definitely up with you." Luke said as the bell rang, slinging his backpack over his shoulder.
"Eh?!" I said. "uggghhhh, just like always he noticed that something is wrong with me."
I looked across the room.
Jordan was gathering his things while laughing with his friends.
"Ahh." I thought. "He's only ever glared at me. He has a nice smile. His dimples are kinda cute too.."
Eeeekkkk!!!
"No, no, no!.....I don't think a guy is cute!"
I looked back at Jordan then turned to Luke.
"Hey Luke...wanna go to the home basketball game on Monday? I heard it's going to be a good one."
Unexpectedly, he didn't treat me like I was stupid for asking, or say that "it would be lame."
Instead, he looked to Haru who was laughing along with the basketball players and said,
"Lets."
