We were in his car, when he stared to explain.

“The Royals are the vampires bosses. They have rules you must follow, and if you don't follow them, you can get killed.

Kendra and I have met them. Since I was very young and everything, they thought my eating would go out of controlled. They did except it, however. They did so, because they knew that Kendra didn't feed on humans. They said if she can teach me not to feed on humans, that I could be changed.

It was my destiny to become a vampire. I know you've been scared about this whole thing. I'm really sorry.”

“It's fine. Who's all part of the Royals?”

“The King is Cody. He has short brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a big temper, but he's nice after a long chat. He never really does anything, unless it's a vampire breaking a law of theirs. The Queen, her name is Juliet. She looks a lot like her husband. They have two kids, Austin and Teresa. Teresa looks like her parents, but not Austin. He was really Juliet's sister's son, but she died, during his birth, so he has blonde hair and brown eyes. They actually don't do anything except one thing. They assist the King, Cody, in the execution process. They aren't really necessary, but they're there.”

I looked at him, as he was still driving, “So if they're royalty, won't they have like some type of guard?”

“Oh, they do. Nick, Josh, Erin, Chris, Luke, Sam, Tyler, Micheal, Ka'Terra, Kylie, Brianna, Alexis, Jenny, Haley, and Kayla are all part of the guard. They all have a special part on the guard. Micheal is the caption. Nick and Josh are the ones who protected the King with Micheal. Erin and Chris protect protect Austin, the Prince. Luke, Sam, and Tyler protect the outside of the castle. The girls protect the Princess and the Queen. They all have to stay inside, if not they burn to ash outside.”

“How do you go in the sunlight?”

He kept looking forward, “Remember the necklace you gave me?”

“Yeah, why?”

“The King and Queen maybe be married, but they don't exactly love each other.”

“How does that have anything to with the necklace I gave you?”

“You gave it to me out of pure love. If a human or someone else gives you a gift out of pure love, you can walk in the sunlight.”

“Oh,” so he knew that I loved him. Well, that's good, I guess.

“Yeah, we here!”

I looked out the window, There was an empty field, “Why are we here?”

“I found this place, and it reminded me of you. I know how much you love to be outside.”

I smiled and got out of the car. He got to me quickly and picked me up. “Whoa,” I said in a rush. My head was spinning.

“You okay?”

“Yeah,” I said. He carried me to where a blanket was on the ground. “What's this?”

“I wanted to talk here, if that's okay with you?”

“Yeah, it's fine.”

We talked for hours. Before, I know it I was at home. “David?” I realized I was in his car still.

“Hey,” he said, helping me out of the car. “I called your mom said you flew asleep, and that you would be home late.”

“Oh, thanks.”

“Your welcome.” He walked me to the front door, “ I love you, Jess.”

“I love you, too.” He leaned in towards my face.

Is he going to kiss me? Oh my god, no way. He's really going to kiss me, I thought. Then, all of a sudden, the porch lights come one. He stopped and hugged me instead.

“Goodnight,” he said, kissing my cheek.

“Yeah, night.” He walked back to his car and drove away. I walked inside to fine that my brother, Jacob, is the only one home. “Why did you turn the porch lights on?”

“Mom called and told me to.”

“Okay, whatever. I'm going to bed, night.”

“Night,” he said, while I walked into my room.

Why did he have to ruin my first kiss with David? Why? I went to the bathroom and changed, brushed my teeth, and brushed my hair. Then, I went to my room. I laid down on my bed. About 16 minutes past, when all of a sudden, I hear a bang on my window.
