“What the heck are you doing here?” David was right outside my
window. He was climbed up and came into my room. “David?”
“Hey,” he said, reaching for my hands.
“Hey, what are you doing here?”
“I’m just here for fun.”
I laughed and moved towards my bed. “Well, why don’t you make
yourself comfortable?”
“I will.”
I went to go lay in my bed, quietly. I was asleep, when I heard my
mom come in.
“Jessica?”
“MOM!”
“How was your day?”
I looked around my room, but David was nowhere in sight. I
looked at my mom, “Yeah, I guess it was.” Where did he go? He didn’t
leave, did he?
“That’s good. Are you okay? You seem a little jumpy?”
“Yeah,” I recovered my expression.
“Alright, Jess. I love you, baby girl.” “Yeah, I love you, too. Night, Mom.” She shut the door, and then out of nowhere, David pops up on my other side of my bed. “God, you scared me.”
“I know. I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright, so why did you stay?”
“I found it pretty interesting when you sleep. You kind of sleep
talk.”
“Yeah, I know. What did I say?”
“You loved me, my name, and that you didn’t want to be
changed.”
“Oh,” I said. Well, now, he knows everything.
“Jessica, I will never ever change you.”
I looked at him, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s not your fault. I’m sorry; I didn’t want to put you through this
situation of mine.”
I looked at him, “I’m glad you told me everything.”
“I know, but Jessica if the Royals find out that I told you. I’m going
to…”
“Don’t tell me.”
He looked at me, “Jessica.”
“David, I don’t want anything to happen to you. I love you too
much to lose you. I don’t want you to die because of me. I think you
should know that.” He leaned in towards my face, “Jess, did you want to get change?”
I was getting nervous. “I don't want to be changes, but if it saves
your life, than I will change for your safety.”
He kissed me, “Jessica, you will never have to do that.” He
continued to kiss me.
The kissed made me feel like I was in heaven. I love David, and I
don’t want to lose him. I hope he’s mine and forever mine. He will
never lose me; I know that for sure. He will not hurt me, and I know
that he won’t. I love David, and that will never change.
I yawned and he laid me back down on my bed. “You're tired, so you should go to sleep.”
He left my side and headed towards the window, “David!” He stopped and turned to me. “Will you stay?” To be honest, I didn't want him to leave. He smiled and walked back to my bed and leaned down, kissed my head, and climbed sat on the floor, next to bed. He stayed, holding my hand, by my side, and I was truly happy. I don't think I will need to search for my true love anymore, because he's right here, next to me.
