The day was going fine for Gryka except that she was late for her job, accidentally shouted at a co-worker, spilled coffee on herself and her date, and now had to pay for his "designer" shirt. "It couldn't go any worse than that, can it?", she hoped but little did she know. Her whole world would collapse all because a letter that should have been given to her on her 18th birthday. Her whole childhood had been a lie. Although the letter was old she could read it easily except the last part. It was burnt maybe by accident or on purpose. But she thought only of the contents of the letter. It read,
"Her name is Gryka. I am sorry to have to leave her in your hands but I am unable to take care of her. She should receive this necklace that is included in this envelope when she turns 18. This will ensure her safety when she grows of age. Gryka if you're reading this it means you have grown of age. What I will tell you is regarding your-our family. Our family is well... special. We are"
The letter ended there. She remembered she was given a crescent shaped moon necklace for her 18th birthday.
