“So, what should I call you?” GEN addressed.
“Call me Lunas please.”
“Acknowledged.”
I left the building and started walking on the side walks to The Mission Center. One of the best features of while talking to GEN is I can talk to her without my voice being projected, that’s why the process hurts so much. Part of your brain is linking with the GEN.
I noticed after walking for a few minute at I was getting strange looks. Until I recalled that I have a blue stripe on my helmet, showing I’m Rank 10. I hope for this mission I have a team, a solo mission of this supposed importance seems unlikely. I continued to walk and ponder.

I walked to the buildings entrance and opened the doors.
“Are you Lunas?” A young man asked
“Yes sir.” I specified.
“Follow me.” He spoke. I followed him and we soon approached a door a few hallways away from the lobby. He opened the door and ushered me through. Upon walking in he closed the door.
I looked around immediately saw 3 armored people staring at me. Each with a blue stripe across their right side of their helmet. This is the team.
The one with the largest build was wearing a bulky helmet with a large visor. The rest of their outfit consisted of a primarily navy blue color, with 2 pistols, a grenade, and a large knife. The second one was tall and slim. They were wearing a black suit with an assault rifle, knife, and empty vails. His helmet seemingly had no visor, but a large orange glowing triangle. The third one was average and had a suit that was very metal in appearance. I could see no sort of weapon on them.
The bulky one spoke. “Your Lunas ay? We need to get this mission going now, your new name is delta.”
“That’s odd how he wants me to be called Delta, right GEN?”
“I see why, they want to not have an emotional attachment to you in case you die.”
“Yes I’m Lunas, or Delta. What’s your name?” I questioned
He pointed to himself “Call me Alpha.” He pointed to the tall one with the orange triangle. “This is Beta.” And then he pointed to the metal looking one. “And that’s Charlie.”
Alpha took a deep breath and began to speak. “Our mission is simple really. On Luna there is a base that looks like it belonged to humans before the great switch. We have named this The Epsilon Decline. If we check the base and there is no problems, Zythol forces will turn it into a research base. The Epsilon Decine has an odd layout though. There is an approximate 2 mile stretch of pipes coming off of every direction of the base. The base itself is a huge building about 40 stories tall. We need to scan for lifeforms and check what’s in the pipes. Another team of 4 will be going on from the opposite side to effectively cover the base as soon as possible.
Man he just said a lot, but to be honest it was east to understand. “Ok Alpha. What’s my exact role in this mission?”
“You need to enter the building and get to the basement. After you’ve checked the basement for lifeforms, try and meet the other team. You will be our communication between the 2 teams.”
“I understand.”
This mission doesn’t seem that dangerous to be honest. But at the same time what we humans did 4000 years ago didn’t seem dangerous. It’s unfortunate we were wrong.
