Although I tried to avoid it, Pearl has used the word "human" here. Pearl is a human, basically. Just ignore their gems, it's more to make them look like themselves.

Re: pearl said human, maybe humans just have gems in this world for no good reason. Doesn't matter why, they just look pretty. Also sleepy ame in that last panel gave me life
