Mako leaves the door open as Luka hurries inside, Mom sits at the island and watches them walk by, “How was the movie?” She asks as Mako heads upstairs.

“It was ok, we didn’t really enjoy it but the girls did. They were bugging Kai to go see it again,” Luka says chuckling a little, Mom smiles as she writes something down.

“You still working?” Luka asks holding Kai bride style, Mom nods as she rubs her eyes.

“I’ll be done in a little bit,” Mom replies as Mako walks past them and into the garage. He walks back inside with Amber in his arms, Mom smiles, “How was your night?” She asks making Mako stop next to her.

“It was ok, the movie sucked and the food was iffy. Now imma go to bed after I put her to sleep, goodnight,” Mako says kissing Mom on the forehead.

Mom smiles as Mako walk upstairs again, “How was he tonight?” She whispers leaning toward Luka.

“Good, he played tic tac toe with the girls and didn’t fight with Kai,” Luka says quietly as Mako walks into his room, shutting the door.

“I guess there’s a first time for everything,” Mom says laughing quietly, she looks up at Luka and smiles, “You can go now, your arms are probably getting tired from his fat ass. Thank you again for all your help, love you,” Mom says tapping his arm.

“Thank you for letting me stay here and love you too,” Luka says walking down the hall to Kai’s room, Mom turns back to her work.

Luka shuts the door and walks over to the bed, he sets Kai down and takes off his shoes. He sets them by the door and then starts taking off the rest of his clothes. As he starts to take off Kai shirt Kai wakes up a little, “Where am I, why can’t I see. Am I blind, what happened?” Kai asks as Luka pulls his shirt down so Kai could see.

“Sorry, I was just trying to get you ready for bed,” Luka says blushing a little, Kai smiles.

“It’s ok, continue,” Kai says laying back down, Luka smiles and continues to take off Kai’s shirt. He then starts taking his own clothes off and walks over to the other side of the bed, Kai smiles as Luka climbs under the covers. Kai does the same and snuggles up close to Luka, becoming very warm.

“Good night,” Luka says lowering himself under the blankets, Kai breaths in taking in Luka’s sent.

“Night, lov-,” Kai says blushing hard, “Please tell me he didn’t notice that oh god. S-should I say it, it’s too soon. I should wait till he says it, but what if he never says it. He’s probably sleeping,” Kai thinks as he stuffs his face into Luka's chests.

“Hey, you ok?” Luka asks resting his chin on Kai’s head, Kai nods.

“Yeah, I just wanna be close to you, sorry,” Kai says moving away a little.

‘No no, it’s fine. I just thought you were crying or something, I don’t mind you being close to me,” Luka says pulling Kai closer to him, Kai smiles as he snuggles his face back into Luka’s chest.

“Good night, again,” Luka says kissing the top of Kai’s head.

‘Night,” Kai replies as they both fall asleep.

The next morning….

Kai wakes up and sees nothing, he blinks a few times and realizes his face is still smooshed into Luka’s chest. He tries to move away but can’t, Luka hugs him so he would stay close. Kai pushes on Luka’s chest gently as he tries to slip away, but he still can’t get out.

Luka groans as Kai tries pushing on him again, “What are you doing?” He asks as Kai stops pushing.

“Trying to escape,” Kai says with a muffled voice, Luke loosens his grip.

“What?” Luka asks looking down at Kai, Kai squints his eyes as light fills the room.

“Nothing,” Kai says as he flips over so Luka is spooning him, Luka smiles pulling Kai back in.

‘What time is it, it sounds like your siblings are gone. Which is surprising cause I didn’t get woken up this morning,” Luka says chuckling a little as he tries to fall back asleep kinda.

Kai reaches over and grabs his phone, “It’s twelve-thirty,” He says setting the phone back down, Luka nods and snuggles his head into Kai’s neck.

“What do you wanna do?” Luka asks as they both lay there like they’re sleeping.

“I wanna stay in bed, it’s comfy and warm,” Kai says pushing the blankets into his face, Luka smiles.

“There’s nothing else you wanna do?” Luka asks, “Cause I could stay here all day,” He continues as he wraps his legs around Kai’s.

“What else is there to do, I don’t wanna leave the house and it’s cold outside. There’s nothing to do inside except clean and play board games, and Mom probably did all of the cleaning already and I don’t want to have to go find a board game,” Kai says sleepily, Luka smiles.

“Fine but if we are staying all day, we have to get snacks, close the window blinds and I gotta use the bathroom,” Luka says taking his arms back as he sits up a little, “So how about you go get snacks and I use the bathroom and then we both come back in here and watch Netflix or a movie. How does that sound?” Luka asks as Kai sits up too.

“Sounds good, I’ll probably sleep a little longer while we watch a movie though. I’m still tired,” Kai says getting out of bed, Luka does the same.

“Ok, sounds good to me,” Luka says walking to the door as Kai stretches quickly. They both walk out, Kai heads to the kitchen and Luka hurries into the bathroom. Kai searches around for snacks and finally just grabs whatever was left from their movie yesterday. He heads back to the room and sets the snack on the end table, Kai then turns on the tv and starts searching for a movie.

Luka walks in the room and over to the window, he shuts the blinds and then walks over to the bed and sits down, “What movie were you thinking?” Luka asks sliding under the covers.

“I was thinking maybe a comedy or a romantic movie,” Kai says as he focuses on one.

“Sounds good to me, I don’t mind what movie we watch,” Luka says as Kai picks one, he stands up and shuts the door and flips the lights off. Kai then snuggles into bed next to Luka and rests his head on Luka’s chest as he kinda watches the movie.

“The snacks are on the end table if you want any,” Kai says as he drifts to sleep, the movie starts playing as Luka starts to rub Kai’s back.
