Sorry about the silence, this is one of the things i've been working on.
This comic is a combination of things i love and things i want to see more of in comic. I've tried to mix my love for the colourfulness and bright powers of magical girl shows with more western superhero comics.
It's a story about a superhero from the point of view of a normal citizen who just happens to be there when the hero has an emotional breakdown from the pressure that comes from being a hero. I've always thought about those superhero stories where a young person suddenly gets powers and wondered why they'd be so eager to be a hero? Or at least not show any emotions or doubts about what they're doing after near-death experiences. It's got to be weighing down on you. So i wanted to show that story, a story about someone who felt pressured into becoming a superhero (that with great power comes great responsibility meant constantly risking your life for others) but doesn't actually want to. Because sometimes expectations are overwhelming in real life too.
Also a note: The citizen is non-binary since they're supposed to be 'anyone' or could be any random citizen so yeah
