In the dead of autumn where for almost everyone was still worm, Alice was the first one to put on a jumper. Questioning her own health, she grips tightly to her right arm before moving towards the school science lab. Wet after the rain a few hours back, the grey grounds around the school gave it a reflective texture though that is quickly ignored as Alice hits her head on the door frame in her attempt to enter the science room her friend was stationed. "arug." Mel quickly turned his attention away from the small red and blue test tube he was working on and towards the sliding door where he saw his friend holding to the side of. Surround by a mix of 2 dozen test tubes he asked a single question, "Again." Holding up one of the bottled drink Alice has brought before coming she answer," yea, again" Confirming this was not the first occurrence. "thanks." Mel came over to grab the bottle. Sitting down in the science room, Mel began to act weird looking around the place and downwards. Asking " what's wrong?" Alice got her answer after a short pause. " I don't want to go to university. To say those word affected her was an understatement. The person that she admired for his skills at school; both a friend a goal to chase after might be leaving her soon. The thought of their gaps further widening knowing their difference in intelligence makes her happy to know he has made a decision but a strange fear that she might be again alone. feared, confused, surprised, all the emotions you would except was mixing up in her mind causing her to make a blanked out expression without an answer to give.
At a point where the family of 3 seem to have to reached peace, a second child was born into the family. The first child whom age gap varied from the second by 17 years was one that many would have thought to have a bright future ahead with high achieving grades and a work sequel that was near inhuman presented him no less from a genius. He supported the family as the pillar for few years. However, at age 21, he died. And this a story about the second child with expectations she can't achieve.
