16. Demisexuality

Lots of people experience demisexuality differently. The kind of broad definition says that (sexual) attraction is only experienced after a strong emotional connection. But the specifics of that experience will differ from person to person. Some people can/will experience that emotional connection quickly, some people (like Samson here) need more time to let that connection build.
Also, in the last update Samson said that he is "not all that particular about gender or whatever." So, he only identifies himself as "demi" but that is kind of like demi/pan but demisexuality doesn't, by necessity, mean that a partner's gender doesn't matter. And there is a whole other spectrum for romantic attraction, too. Anyway, google it or whatever, I'm in the middle of reading a library book that is due back tomorrow so byyyyye.

Okay. So. This project is *kind of* a crazy undertaking on all accounts. To start...
You know how they have weird made-up holidays? Like "Talk Like a Pirate Day" or "National Ice Cream Sandwich Day" or whatever? I look up those weird holidays ALL THE TIME doing social media for work and there are SOME weird holidays that are just...extra made up.
Like. There is a "Geek Pride Day" (May 25th) and there is a "National Take a Hike Day" (June 1st) and THEN there is a "National Hike with a Geek Day" (June 20th) which just seems EXTRA made up.
SO my friend and I were talking about this extra made-up holiday and laughing about different concepts about it and then not that long ago (like...maybe a week ago?) I decided to make a short little webcomic about some of the stuff we were joking about.
SO. BASED ON THE EXTRA MADE UP "NATIONAL HIKE WITH A GEEK DAY" WEIRD HOLIDAY...
Old school friends Samson and Hank enter a 36-hour "Take a Hike with a Geek" contest.
This webcomic will update EVERY DAY in June and then it will conclude.
