My parents set up another round of candidates for me to marry. Or in hope for me to find my mate. I sit in my throne and i don't even look at them. Their all men. I'm pretty sure they would freak if they were to see my member. They look at me with lust. So much so that i just want to vomit.

I'm wearing a dress that is practically seen thru thanks to my mother. I may be alpha but they still “rule over me” even though i am 26. I start to pay attention when a middle-aged man came in with a very weak scent that has me over on edge.

He says “I am Bellfour Blacksmoke. I am from the Black Smoke clan of dragons…”

I stop listening as I slowly realize that the scent on him is of my mate. I growl at him. I start to walk to him at he starts to walk back.

Once i reach him i said in a low voice, “Why do you have to smell of my mate on you?!” He shakes at the sound of my voice.

He stammers as he says “ I...I...uh... I'm only here...here...for the... Uh... the marriage proposal.”

I nod and walk out of the ballroom to where the scent seems to be stronger. I end up near the courtyard when this beautiful young woman says “ You must be Ms. Blackwood. I'm Domionic your fiance .” She reaches out for a hand shake. I took her hand and kiss it as for a beautiful girl like her deserves more than a handshake. In that moment i did i realized she is my mate. She must have realized as well because she looks shocked.

I say with a smirk on my face “ Well it looks like we are mates and this alliance will go thru.”

She took me by surprise when she turned around shifted into a black dragon and flew away. I stood there dumbstruck and i thought “ Well damn. What the fuck just happened?”
