Kura sighed, watching Rindou talk with his overseers and bodyguards about suddenly staying an extra three days in Pine Village. It was the morning after the festival and Kura had spent the night in the main living room on the sofa.
"No!"
"Absolutely not!"
"You barely know this guy," said the first.
"He's a terrible dresser," said the second.
The first nodded, "Yes must be poor."
Rindou clapped his hands, "I think he's perfectly harmless! And what I say goes! Kura is going to stay with us here in the inn for the next three days!"
"And what'll you get out of this, prince?" asked the first bodyguard, a tall man with several swords on him.
"I proposed to him," Rindou smiled.
"WHAT?!" the two bodyguards shouted with Kura.
"You never asked me to marry you straight out!" Kura shouted.
"But you agreed!" Rindou answered, hearts all around him.
Kura stammered and shook his head, "You brat! You tricked me!"
"Don't call him a brat!" the second bodyguard said, also a tall man with two spears, pointing one at Kura's neck.
Kura stood up, "I'll call my apparent-fiancee whatever the heck I want!"
"Finacee~" Rindou repeated happily. Kura shook his head and stomped over to Rindou, grabbing his head and tugged him out of the room. "Ow!"
"We need to talk, now. In private!" Kura said as he dragged the prince out and into the bedroom Rindou had slept in. Rindou was sort of tossed to the bed as Kura crossed his arms. "Now what's this about asking me to marry you!"
"When I asked you to rule next to me!" Rindou nodded, "I want you to marry me and you agreed!"
"First off, I hardly know you." Kura answered, "And second, I said I won't rule. I hate politics and want nothing to do with them."
Rindou stood up and walked over to Kura, "But you'll think about it right? If I convince you in the next three days, you'll marry me?"
"I'm a guy. You DO realize that, don't you?" Kura asked, glaring at Rindou. His usual quiet and obidient personality out the window.
"Yes." Rindou nodded. "I'm fine with that."
Kura scratched his chin, thinking a moment. "Fine... But now it's gonna take more to convince me."
"Perfect!" Rindou clapped, "Even more of a challenge! I want to earn your respect-- and love."
Kura shoved Rindou out of the room with red cheeks and slammed the door shurt.
Rindou laughed and pointed to the door, saying to the guards, "I think he's falling for me!"
"He's a MALE?!"
