Honestly, lobotomies weren't in vogue until the 40's so I just kept it vague. I also don't really know if in the 1910's, someone would refer to something as a "psychotic episode" and not "bout of hysteria" but Pearl does have a medical background in this AU so maybe she would? Whatever, this timeline is loose with historical accuracy. Amethyst is still a pretty modern-talker too.
