Kura walked over to Rindou, who was sitting at a window without glass in it looking out to the small village. "Something wrong?" he asked, holding a glass of water toward Rindou.
Rindou shook his head, "Nah." He took the cup and studied it, "Doesn't it seem odd?"
"What?" Kura blinked, pulling over a wooden chair to sit down.
"That you're an..offical prince. Of sorts..?"
Kura shrugged, "Nah. Long story short, my cousin Vlalan should have been the prince. But he fulfilled his priority to protect a special person to the worlds... And he was released from his duty."
"When was that?"
"Just a little bit ago," Kura nodded. "It's my job now to well.... Find the True Prince."
"True..?" Rindou blinked, looking to Kura. "You're confusing me!"
Kura laughed, "You'll understand when we go up to the terrace."
"I want to understand now!" Rindou shouted like a child. "It's not fair that you're leaving out information!"
"It's just like egg-hunting," Kura replied softly as he looked down. "So, don't worry. I just have to find the True Prince- or better known as Azrael.."
Rindou groaned, looking back out the window. "So when does the sky turn red?"
"Dunno.." Kura shrugged, looking out the window to the orange hues of the setting sun in the sky.
They were silent until the sun went down.
Rindou yawned and got up with a stretch, "I'm going to bed."
"Night," Kura smiled. Rindou patted Kura's head as he left up the stairs to their bedroom in the inn.
Kura looked back out the window, "...When the sky burns a firey red and it hails down... That's when I go to see Amphitra." As Kura got up and left to his bedroom, faint red flashes could be seen in the navy sky.
The time was obviously drawing nearer.
