Well here's Shaun's mugshot photos (could come in handy later, right? =_=) along with a genuine smile he hasn't had a chance to show off yet. Honestly he's not a bad guy (or at least he doesn't mean to be) but he has a long way to go growth-wise and with the in-media-res beginning, he's not had the best circumstances for showing off his better self. He'll have plenty of chances later to redeem himself though. We'll see if he takes advantage of that or not.
I've been needing to make character reference pages for myself for forever (this was something I was supposed to do before starting but I got excited for pages hehe), especially since I have such a hard time keeping my characters looking consistent. Hopefully that will change with this! It's more of a realistic, relaxed portrayal here than the cartoony expressions I've used so far on him (well his emotions do run to the extreme).
Why start the character sheets with Shaun and not Zachary you ask? Simply because Shaun is the easiest for me to draw aside from Natasha. And he's the most straightforward, spoiler-free character of all of them.
