“Wh-what...? I... I don't... understand.” Alexander's breath was light. Suddenly Julian's hands on his wrists didn't feel tight and overwhelming in a strong way that would instill fear in the blond with the threat of being punched. It brought something uncomfortable to his stomach.

Julian leaned forward so his nose bumped against Alexander's. The blond instinctively turned his head away to prevent them from kissing. “Stay with me.” He spoke calmly.

Alexander shut his eyes, his arms once more trying to break free. This time, Julian let him loose and Alexander was able to turn his back to the knight. “You told me to leave you! You're the one who's been unfair!”

“That's right. And I'm apologizing for it.” Julian shifted forward, putting one hand on each side of Alexander's body so he couldn't move away to either side.

“It doesn't seem like an apology.” Alexander glared back at him.

An odd smile went onto Julian's face when Alexander eyes landed on him. He looked hurt, and that he was just smiling to ease away the pain. “You used to trust me with anything.” He paused. “Do you trust me now? Because I'm your knight? Because you paid me? Do you think I won't hurt you?”

“If–” Alexander's words caught in his throat. “If you're going to rape me than just do it already!”

“Huh?” Julian tilted his head to the side, leaning his face close to Alexander's. “You think I'm mad at you? For leaving me?” This time Alexander didn't shy away; He looked Julian straight in the eye.

“Aren't you?”

“I was hurt.” Julian clarified. “My best friend just left me one day. We live in the same city and you never came back. Practically a decade later you show up offering to pay me to take me with you?” He scoffed. “I'm a belligerent asshole now.” He smirked. “I'm pretty good at screwing people up. And.” He leaned closer causing Alexander to dart his head to the side once more. “I'll fuck you up, pretty boy.”

“Then just do it!” Alexander shut his eyes tight. “Rape me, bring in buddies, whatever – just – just... Just do it already! Attempt to suffocate me. Murder me. I... I don't care!” His hands clung to the fabric of the bedspread in front of him desperately.

Julian leaned close enough to Alexander's face that he was able to place a soft kiss on the edge of his ear. He used his tongue to move the locks of blond and pink hair, then kissed the ear again. Alexander's shivered, his eyes shut tight. He placed his right hand gently on Alexander's farthest shoulder, then his right hand down around the blond's stomach.

“I care.” The words whispered sweetly against Alexander's ear caused his body to tremble in Julian's arms.
