So MinJoon brought out a sleeping bag and extra pillow, and asked Sam where he wanted him.
“Anywhere is fine, I really don’t mind...” Sam insisted.
“Really?” Asked minjoon. Sam nodded, and MinJoon dragged his sleeping blanket from the far corner of the room to right next to Sams bed.
“Is that ok?” He asked, a bit sheepishly but with his trademark flirtatious wink.
“Uh-yeah. Sh-sure.” Stammered Sam, pink cheeked. MinJoon crawled into his sleeping bag and closed his eyes. Sam lay awake, staring at MinJoon’s prone silhouette. He had dreamed of someone like MinJoon since he was young. He had dreamed about a tall handsome boy, who would love him more than life itself. When Sam got older, he had decided such a thing didn’t exist, especially not for boy who liked boy.
But here was MinJoon. Perfect MinJoon, sleeping on the floor next to Sams bed like a loyal dog. Sams heart felt warm and full, and he snuggled under his blanket. He fell asleep easily that night, and dreamed about MinJoon.
Sam woke up early, as the first slice of golden sun slid in his widow and across his face. Sam say bolt upright, remembering where he was and who he was with. The sleeping bag on the floor was empty and rolled up. There was no sign of MinJoon. Sam felt panicked, and checked the time on the alarm clock next to his bed. It was almost 8:00 am. Sam slid out of bed, clad in the pink silk pajamas MinJoon had given him. Sam padded across the floor to the bedroom door and peeked out. He smelled bacon.
“Sam? Is that you?” He heard MinJoon’s voice from the kitchen, followed by footsteps. MinJoon came around the corner holding a greasy spatula and smiling.
“You’re awake! How’d you sleep?”
Sam looked down at his bare feet, embarrassed to be wearing pink pajamas and bed hair. Sam nervously patted his hair, trying to smooth it down.
“I slept fine...” he mumbled.
“Good!” Exclaimed MinJoon, “you know what’s crazy? So did I!” MinJoon seems genuinely surprised and excited.
MinJoon noticed Sam was still wearing pajamas and fidgeting with his messy hair, which MinJoon found adorable.
“Well I’ll leave you to get dressed. Come out and see what I’m cooking when you’re done!” MinJoon was hardly able to contain his excitement about cooking breakfast for Sam.
MinJoon went back to the kitchen and Sam shuffled to the bathroom. It was was a full bath, right off the bedroom. Sam took off the pajama and folded them neatly. He deliberated over what to wear, finally settling on skinny jeans and heather colored turtleneck sweater. Sam got his hair wet and combed it smooth, fussing excessively to make it perfect. When Sam was satisfied with his appearance he went to the kitchen, where MinJoon stood at the stove, where a pan of black strips smoked. MinJoon turned and saw Sam, and was paralyzed for a moment just staring at the good looking blonde boy.
“Sam!” He finally Exclaimed, “come see!” Sam stood next to MinJoon and peered into the frying pan at the charred meat. It surprisingly still smelled good.
“Wow...MinJoon that looks really good!” Sam lied, he could tell MinJoon was really proud of his cooking effort. The tall boy beamed, poking the bacon with the spatula. Sam wanted to to show MinJoon the proper way to cook bacon, (which does not include spatulas) but Sam thought on this case it was better to let MinJoon enjoy himself and not spoil it.
