Unfinished Christmas comic

So this was a comic that I made around Christmas time. I got the sketches done, but then thought, 'this isn't funny' So I scrapped the idea and actually came up with this one: http://tapastic.com/episode/84095
I like that one a lot better.
Anyway, I looked at it again and thought that it was fitting to share with you guys. What do you think? Is it funny?

well to me its funny because in sweden we call christmas "jul" and july "juli" ... i legit thought christmas was comming along july as a child...
