"Oh my god this is a lot of bags!"

Clementine tries not to snicker at maria as she struggles with the other 12 bags of clothes she insisted to buy for her.

It's like they think they're gonna keep clementine forever.

They go inside and start putting clothes away.

Then there's a buzz on the speaker when the buzzer at the front gate is clicked.

"Oh-" Maria stands,"That must be your friend..."

Clementine idly remembers that this family is rich but they don't act it.

Maria clicks the answer button,"Yes who is it?"

"U-um oh! I'm Soushi... I'm here to see Clementine... Is this the right house?"

Clementine also remembers how stupid soushi can seem sometimes.

"Yup! I'm opening the doors for you dear..." Maria  clicks another button then turns to clemnetine,"He's coming down drive now honey..."

Clementine can't help but smile and stand abruptly.

"Oh-" Maria looks surprised as she runs past her,"Ok..."

Clementine runs down the stars loudly.

She runs past the living room.

Dani watches her with odd expression and David looks concerned,"Clementine?"

Clementine slings the front door open an runs across the huge porch and down the steps.

David follows her because he doesn't understand whats happening and Dani follows out of interest.

She sprints down the too long driveway and she sees him.

His dyed yellow hair with a single black un-dyed strand bounces on his head as he runs to her and his slim body sprint probably faster than hers.

"Clem!" He grins wide when he sees her round the road.

"Hey you dumbass!" She jumps into his open arms and he spins in a circle.

She inhales his strong cinnamon scent greedily.

"Ha ha! I missed you!" He puts her down and buries his face into her shoulder,"I missed you so much Clem..." She hears him breathe in her scent.

Which is a thing the do because of their friendship. And to make sure the other is ok because of being away for so long.

Clementine just snorts,"I missed you too..." She hugs him back tightly. her smile fades and she plants her cheek against his shoulder,"I'm not being sarcastic either..." She whispers.

Soushi snorts and lets go,"Well you never lie to people so that must mean you really care about me..." He grins like the smart ass he is.

Clementine scoffs and punches his shoulder walking away.

"Hey! Wait for me!" He runs to catch up.

Clementine smirks.

David raises a brow as they go up the steps.

Soushi promptly bows,"Sorry for the intrusion sir..."

Dani snorts rolling his eyes and heading back inside.

David shakes his head at his son then smiles at Soushi,"You can stand no need for formalities..."

Soushi stands straight with a bright grin,"Ok!" He holds a hand out,"My names Soushi Kindle... It's nice to meet my besties foster parents..."

David shakes his hand with a raised brow,"Besties?"

"Oh yeah!" Soushi wraps an arm around Clementines neck and she Practically snarls at him which makes David flinch but Soushi doesn't even react,"I've known Clem since I was 4 years old... We were in the care system together..."

Clementine smiles and glances at soushi.

Yeah.

He's her bestie.
