My eyes adjusted to the light, and I took in a silent breath as the figure in front of me came into focus. Axl… didn't have a shirt on. Feathery wings fell from his back, tucked up comfortably, and there were scars around them, as if somebody tried to cut them off. Scrawled out in messy writing below his shoulder blade, was the word "Freak" in a faint scar. His hair looked almost black in the lighting, but there was a soft blue glow above his head, making the top of his head turn light blue. I must have not been able to see the faint halo made of light in brod daylight. Axl mumbled in his sleep and turned to face me. He looked... kind of attractive like this, especially because he wasn't awkwardly trying to explain his every action. I felt my face get warm again, and I quickly shut the door, running off to the guest room.

     Water can wait.
