It's hard for to get a good read on Graeme. Is she supposed to be a bully? Because she's inviting Parsnip to a party, which doesn't sound very mean (unless it's a trap). Or is she just an obsessive "cool kid" who thinks she's doing Parsnip a favor, but is being entirely too pushy about it? It's hard for me to dislike her if I can't even tell if she's mean or not, and I can't sympathize with her if I can't tell if she has any redeeming qualities. For that matter, it's hard for me to side with Parsnip if the only reason for their conflict is her determination to do nothing at all.
It's not a story breaker by any means, but it does make these characters a little harder to connect to.
That said, I do kind of love this part:
"Kinda bothers me that you were watching my parents make out."
Yeah. It kinda bothers me, too.
When a mysterious boy from space crashlands in an Earth suburb called Freefar, it throws sarcastic teen, Parsnip's, perfectly planned mundane life completely off track as she's forced into a world of robots, unexplainable science, and immaturity. Read to see strange powers get unlocked and unsubtle attempts at superheroing while the two try to save Freefar from destruction.
