Dani appears in her doorway dressed in a black suit and tie his hair moved from his baby blue eyes,"Eww..." He scrunches up his nose,"Don't you look ugly.

Clementine sticks her tongue out at him.

Dani snorts,"Nah You look fine..."

Shes wearing a red dress that shows her skinny waist off and flows out beautifully from the waist down. It has gold sparkles in the bottom and it's strapless.

It also matches her eyes.

Its just her hair.

This is why she hates her hair sometimes.

Dani cocks his head,"Hair problems?"

"Yes! Fucking stupid black hair!" She frizzles her hair up pissed off at it.

"Woah woah! You're making it worse!" He runs over and grabs her hair and yanks.

"Ow!" She glares at him,"Was the yanking really necessary?"

"No... I'm just an asshole... Now hold still so we aren't late for the dance..." He takes a brush to her hair.

Dani may be 14 but he is smart and he skipped a year in school.

She just turned 17 last month before coming here.

So in all reality she should only be in junior year not senior.

But seniors fine.

Dani is a freshman this year but he's actually supposed to be an 8th grader.

All his friends are at least one year older than him.

He skipped 2nd grade.

Clementine skipped 4th.

So yeah they're two smart pups going to a dance to hangout with the people they like and watch those people be happy with their dates that aren't them.

Clementine is just going to hangout with her soon to be brother.

She smiles lightly.

Dani stands there letting the Iron heat up and he glares at the floor,"Those people... Are fucking stupid and you don't have to worry about them any more..." He moves some of his hair from his face and grabs scissors.

"What are those for?" She glances at them.

"I'm going to trim your hair," He grins sadistically.

Clementine points at him,"Fine but I swear to fucking god that if you fuck up my hair I will actually hurt you..."

Dani snorts,"Id like to see you try..."

Clementine sticks her tongue out at him and he flips her off.

They both laugh.

"C'mon..." Dani grabs his wallet from the console and Clementine grabs her jacket.

They clamber out of the car.

"Ok you two have fun and we'll be out here at around 10 ok!" Maria yells over the crowd of people, and beeping cars, and the music blaring from inside the school.

"Ok love you!" Dani yells back.

David grabs Dani by the collar and pulls him down to whisper in his ear.

Dani smiles and nods.

"Oh-! Clementine!" Maria clambers out of the car.

Clementine watches her run around the car holding something.

"Here dear..." She takes a beautiful red flower and places it in clementines hair.

It looks perfect in her hair.

It's curled and pulled into a bun some of it falls down underneath the bun and its all curled there.

"Oh..." Maria looks her over and smiles.

"She looks just like you did Maria..." David says from the car.

"Mom wore that dress on her prom night Clem..." Dani says seeing her confusion.

Clementine knows her mouth is hanging slightly open and she stares at Maria.

Maria smiles at her,"Id always wanted a little girl to give that to..."

"Honey..." Maria takes her hands,"The reason we're adopting you is because david and I had always wanted a little girl too... Dani was lucky and he was born before I got into a huge wreck and I lost my ability to have pups..." She smiles,"So we wanted to adopt one but all the pups didn't like our home..."

"So after many years we tried again but we wanted an older pup because we couldn't deal with another baby at our age..." She rubs a thumb over clementines hand,"So we got you and we've all grown to love you so... Yeah I'm going to give this dress to you..."

Clementine smiles,"And the flower..."

"Haha! Yes and the flower," Maria hugs her tight and and kisses her cheek.

"Go have fun kids!" David yells as maria gets in the car.

"Ok! Love you!" Dani yells.

"Alright love ya Dani! Love you Clementine!" He yells as maria starts to pull out.

This is her family now.

Those are her parents.

And the little asshole next to her is her brother.

"Love you too!" She yells knowing shes grinning from ear to ear.

David smiles wide at that and waves at them.

They wave back and turn towards the building.

"You ready?" She looks at Dani.

"Yeah... I guess so..." He strides forward and she follows him.
