Clementine hiccups and shoves her phone away.

She doesn't want to talk to him right now.

Not at all.

She wipes the tears running over her nose away and pushes her hair back behind her ear.

Shes due for another heat in about 2 weeks and she doesn't plan to talk to him until after its over.

Shes not mad at him its just.

She doesn't want to talk to him now that the heartbreak has smacked her right across the face.

Shes been in her room all night.

And Clementine is still in her fucked up dress.

The door to her room opens a little and David pokes his head in,"Clementine..."

She wipes her eyes and rolls halfway to look at him,"Yeah?"

"I know that you're upset right now but a person is here to talk with you and make sure you wanna stay here before we sign the papers she has... You ready?"

Clementine stands up in an instant and she runs over to her dresser grinning,"I'll get changed-" she rips jeans and a t-shirt out.

David chuckles,"Alrighty... We'll be in the living room waiting on ya..."

Clementine nods a wicked grin spread across her face.

She's being adopted.

She's finally and officially being placed in this family's documents and she'll be able to call them her family with confidence.

This is the greatest day of her life.

She pulls the jeans on and tucks the shirt in.

She looks at herself in the mirror and smooths out the places in her hair with a brush.

A small smile appears.

Clementine is finally going to have a last name.

A last name she wants.

Her phone dings again for the 10th time in 5 minutes.

She checks it.
