She’s fascinated by everything she sees from stray cats to shave ice, has no clue how anything works, and makes an unusual habit of disappearing on the beach every night. A Fish out of Water is a semester-long illustration project created by Brittany Borgese. It follows the story of a mermaid, a smoothie stand worker, and a magical whale who lives at the bottom of the sea.
