Part of the fun of having Alex's body being in control is the notion that Alex is just along for the ride when she fights. This was partially inspired by early Sailor Moon fights. Growing up, we always loved how even in life or death battles, Serena (or Usagi depending on which version you watched) would always scream her head off as she battled evil monsters. The comedy of those scenes left an impact with us and inspired this direction with Alex's powers.
