IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!
Gah, this took a while, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Krita's effects and texture brushes are really fun ^^
Also, her hair looks weird in the second panel, I know- I made some last minute adjustments and forgot to fix the hair. Whoops.
Also also, I experimented with things like the shading for this one and overall I think it looks good, but of course I'd love to hear any feedback you guys have. This can include things as innocuous as your preference for the color of the text boxes. Yes I'm serious.
Final thing- these first few pages are probably gonna be a bit wonky because I'm fairly new to making comics, and I hope you'll all forgive me for that. I hope to be more consistent with backgrounds and shading in the future.
Okay, last thing for real- I do the text manually, and at some point I'd like to switch to a custom font, so if any of you know of helpful templates for doing this then please let me know!
EDIT: Surprise! I was using this page as reference for a newer page (page 12, if you're wondering) and decided to finally fix that weird hair cutoff in the lower left panel. I shade hair differently now, but I didn't want to redo everything or make it look too jarring and different, so the shading is the same as I did it initially. Okay- tangent over!
