“Then…?”
Dareka smiled a bit, “I woke up at the golden gates of heaven. I was so shocked to be dead, I spent a week just floating around the gates. I came to my senses when a little boy came up near me. He was scared and disorientated. I told him it’d be okay. I wanted to treat him like I was right and knew that it would be… We went into heaven and stuck together like glue. After we calmed down a bit, we found our way to Angel Training and began that.”
“What’s it like to die?”
“You know that feeling of getting lost in your thoughts before you fall asleep?” Dareka asked. Konya nodded. “It’s like that. You’re thinking about a lot of things so much that you get dizzy…”
Konya nodded, “All right. We’ll go to the records of death in a bit. I want to read some more.”
“Records of death?”
“That woman you met before,” Konya said, turning to his books, “She’s a police officer. She’s got access to those kinds of records. I’ll just use her name and go in.”
