Sorry this is like, three weeks late. I was super unmotivated and wasn't getting much done as a result, but all that matters is the page is finally done and y'all can read it. Some things are a bit wonky here and there but overall I think this looks alright...? I'm really proud of that effect on the last two panels that puts everything in shadow, and I'll definitely play around with it some more and use it in the future.
Also, I've admittedly not done nearly enough planning for this (I have fairly thought out ideas for things further down the line but haven't done any in-depth sketches or scripts or anything). These past few pages were admittedly a slog to get through since there isn't much happening, but we need the Power of Establishing Scenes before we can get to the fun magical girl stuff, y'know?
But anyway, I hope to do more planning for things going forward to keep it all cohesive and entertaining, cause the last thing any of us want is for me to run into a wall or a plot hole and have to either redo a bunch of text- or worse- redo a whole page.
Thanks for putting up with my rambling- I don't know when page 8 will be up, but definitely keep an eye out for it, as well as for updates I post on my main page thingy.
Fairylanders; the people who possess magical trinkets called Lockets, using their power to change the world. However, some Fairylanders, like the Wizard, have chosen to use their Lockets for nefarious purposes.
A young Fairylander named Red has chosen to stand against the Wizard and his schemes, calling upon the aid of several unexpected and slightly strange allies with powers like hers. However, no one ever said saving the world would be easy, and when a legendary Fairylander might be involved? Well, that's all part of the fun, isn't it?
