A close-up on Arthur Hawthorne's corpse in a puddle of blood. A mysterious man kneels besides him, caressing his face with his hand: "Sorry, I didn't make it in time". As we move on to the next panel, we can see the stranger's face: it's a pale young man with long, messy black hair and blue eyes. He looks deeply upset: "If only I had been faster..." he can't finish the sentence, as another voice interrupts him: "You wouldn't have missed all the fun". The black haired stranger turns to see someone walking downstairs: "Kane the Shapeshifter, right? I heard a lot about you". "Yes, I know, I'm that much awesome" is Kane's reply. We can see part of their face: it's the woman from the prologue... or is it? Her features appears to be changing. Her hair is getting shorter and starts to turn white, and she looks... older. Her voice appears to be changing, too: "So the boss decided to send some support, uh? Good... it's always nice to have a helping hand".
