The fight between us, Fuma had to remain in front of the restaurant as the other hybrids inside are keeping the humans inside distracted. Fuma strikes at the flying debris that The Servitor throws at him. He's a tough old bastard. Both myself and Kai had to deal with the regular Servitors and the unique one. Kai has summoned his singular long sword while I had my three. I look to Kai and he to me; we all have this uncanny almost psychic connection in communication but it only appears while in battle. He nods to me and he kills off all of regular Servitors; I land on his blade as I had killed all the ones that were in the air. He then launches me with the force of a sonic boom and my two out of three blades meet the resilient flesh of the black and silver. He's still standing but the impact of clash of myself and the Servitor caused a lot of damage, this is strange. Not uncommon but strange. When this sort of thing happens, my blade manages to go through the skin and hit bone bas I've seen my fair share of Servitors. Some more resilient than others but none are like this Servitor. It made contact with skin but did not pierce nor cut. In fact it's causing sparks from the friction me trying to kill him with my blades and his own arm to block. This guy is tough, I thought as he flings me off. I land with a slide, my heels against tarmac. I look up and immediately dodge the blade of the scythe.
The cloaked individual is a dragon.
I now face the dragon and their personal Servitor head on. Kai had to face the other Servitors...completely on his own, this is planned, I thought as I block the blows from the Servitor and dodge the strikes of scythe. I took a deep breath and twirl the blades in my hands into a different stance and use one of my skills. One that I haven't been used in quite a while. The Dance of Pink Lilies. One of my final haymakers. Once used, nothing of nothing will walk away from it. The only thing that can match it would be Yumi and her skill set. When Yumi and I clashed, it's always ended in a stalemate.
Pink energy exudes from my frame as I begin to use said haymaker. Within seconds, I vanish from my spot, effectively dodging the Servitor and Dragon combination. And I begin using all three blades in a dance of sorts, making the pedals dance around us, cutting into the opponent while giving me boost in speed and momentum. All the while sharpening my blade as I dance. With each blossoming of the lily in question is a powerful slash meant to cut in half. But I know that they are far tougher than any of the regular dragon and Servitor. Using this move is one that can destroy an entire state if used incorrectly. As soon as I got to the final stages, an entire pinkish red cylinder trapping the two with the lily pedals fluttering around and a large bud above and below.
Once the blooms open. An entire vortex of blades will rain upon them with myself at the center.
Just as I goes down like a bullet with a tornado of blades, the dragon and Servitor disappears. Completely. I look around with an openly confused look on my face, blades of light and my two smaller swords around me while holding my larger sword in my hands, the cylinder dispersed nothing of nothing is disturbed, there isn't even destruction of where I landed as there is no longer a target. Outright vanished, not even a gust of wind, "what the fuck just happened?" I ask loudly as Kai and Fuma has finished off the other Servitors. They both stood astounded, just adding more confusion to my face, "what?" I ask
"how did you stop the destruction when you enacted a haymaker?" Fuma asks, more like demands
I look at him with a blank look, "no target. No destruction. That simple." I say bluntly,
"But I can't do that." Kai says
"Not many can. I don't believe in collateral damage." I look at Fuma with a slight glare, "and unneeded casualties." I finish with a slight growl.
"But my question is," I say completely brushing off the two men jolt from my last statement, "how did they escape? No one of no one can escape The Dance of Lilies once targeted." I say
They look at me with astounded looks again, "Just how many haymakers do you have?" Kai asks
"More than you." I clap back, "Back at hand." I said firmly, "they couldn't have gotten out themselves. Dragons a many couldn't get out themselves." I say, "they had to have outside help." the realization dawns on me like an icy slap in the face, "there was another dragon in the area and just bailed them out from a one-way ticket to Death's Door." I finish. The three also turn pale as they realize that we have been played.
We all bolt to the College. We had to the tell Professor Horatius ASAP.
When we had gotten there. We all ran to the headmaster's office. I had gotten there before them as they remained running through the halls and dodging the students and volunteers for the festival. I leapt upon from the walls, pillars and hanging light fixtures upon the ceiling. I didn't give a damn for etiquette at the moment. This shit is urgent.
"We have a problem." I say as I burst through the door. He can see that I am frazzled and the two other Hybrids came in a few seconds after me. Confirming what I said.
We explain everything that happened during our little meeting.
Professor Horatius sits behind his desk with a deep grim look on his face as we tell him what happened at the café. "This is alarming. Very alarming." he says, "but it is also incredibly confusing. Why would the other dragon bail them out? They could've gotten caught." He asked,
"I couldn't sense the other dragon anywhere, not even when they bailed out their allies. They completely vanished." I answer for them as it's a side effect from The Dance of Pink Lilies. I can detect any or all dragons or even Servitors within the region but that's when a target has escaped. "I have extended my reach to the entirety of the city if not two cities over and I couldn't detect anything." I explain, the two noblemen look at me as if I had grown three heads,
"You really need to boast more often." Horatius groans, "You out of everyone should brag to high heaven of how many abilities you have." he loudly complains
I hold a small smirk and say shortly, "No." and he puffs out a cheek like a petulant child, "how else will people learn humility?" and with a more darker tone, "and get the drop on my enemies?" they all shudder as they understand my reasoning...but if only it weren't so scary.
We all talk and we then decided to put a pin in it until after the Adoption Festival. As we can't stop the festival because of a anomaly, a dangerous one at that. We have other problems to take care of...mainly called humanity. We have to keep ourselves in the clear in our fully human neighbors so that we won't have two wars on our hands.
But now we have to proceed with absolute caution...as my instincts are once again. Right.
