Castaway Advice: If you are unlucky enough to get hurt while you are in the water, and especially if you're drawing blood, GTFO. It's not just that you might attract predators, but any cuts, even a slight scratch, can lead to really bad infections. Get out, shower off under that lagoon waterfall, and you're land-locked for at least a few days until healing begins. If pus forms, wrap the wound securely with some palm leaves. Leave nothing to chance. If you get a blood infection, it's game over.
