Alem's POV

I couldn't help but feel this restlessness, it seems like there is something missing and I'm aching for it but I don't know what it is. 

I turn to my sides and tried to close my eyes but every time I do, I only see those pairs of red/brown eyes which is full of hatred that I just want to crush in my hands. 

I got distracted but I know the emotions behind those eyes, I've always encountered them in my battles, the urge to hurt me, to kill me. 

I put my hands on my face, massaging my temple, irritated that I can't sleep. So I get up and put on my robe, I need to get out and go for a walk. 

I get out of bed then proceed to my nightstand where I left my nightgown and put it on. I walk out of the room and saw a few maids chattering with one another but once they sense my presence they immediately cower and leave as if they are a bunch of wolves with their tails between their legs.

I get to the garden where the royal family used to host their tea parties, where they relaxed, and the same place where I tortured them with a guillotine cutting them limbs by limbs which is pretty satisfying but not for them.

I go and walk around in circles but I still can't feel myself but feel the itchiness to get out of my castle and travel. I need a new view to enjoy, I can't fall asleep if I stay still here. 

I activated my spell and let it control my surroundings, lifting up my body up in the air allowing me to see the view of the kingdom from above.

I fly around my territory, wanting to witness something interesting, I gaze for a few minutes but nothing satisfied me. I let myself go further soon my wish came true. I spotted a small figure trying to lean on the walls as if it's hiding from someone. Once the coast is clear, the unknown person continued on walking down the streets.

With nothing to do, I flew closer to where the person is but before I do that I removed my presence and just masked my scent.

There is no source of light here in this part of the city since it's closer to Uid, only some people know what kind of city it is.

As I keep this person company on its way, I notice how they keep on murmuring, and sometimes they would just fire rays of thunder somewhere all of the sudden.

Are they crazy? I thought to myself while laughing.

We started getting further and further away from the capital and we are now surrounded by nature. 

Don't tell me...

I was about to fly closer to see who is this guy but I was surprised to see those pair of eyes again. It's her, the woman who glared at me menacingly. 

She turned around, looking out to see if someone was around, once she saw no one she touched a surface, and immediately various buttons appeared. She entered the code and happily went in once a passage appeared.

Interesting.
