That is possibly the oddest first chapter I've seen. Shaun looks a cop, but even the worst cops I've seen wouldn't act that badly around a friend unless they were responding poorly to a drug. The oblivious hunter dressed up like a city boy? I can't imagine what he's up to, either. The main character is interesting, though. He's like my dream self. "Oh, hey, I should have known I'll be in the middle of another crazy nightmare tonight. Maybe I can survive this?"
