For aside from the constant night, he also felt a pain in his stomach that had not been there before. It remained dull and aching, even after filling it up, as if there could never be enough food for him to eat. Suspicion began to rise, for he had heard of a malady whispered among his kind, but had only thought it old deamon tales. As nights ticked on, it consumed his mind till finally there could only be one answer - Baezel was becoming a vampire.
