It truly didn't take long, it truly didn't; for us to see just how hard we screwed the pooch. And just how out of depth we are...now that Royalty has entered the ring. It had just become all the more complicated. Everyone is now panicking because we now see just how many of our foes have infiltrated the festival. The fact that none of us, Nina didn't catch them, Aoi didn't catch them, Yumi didn't catch them hell not even Jo catch them and he's among the sharpest amongst us! The other hybrids, including our headmaster were thrown through a loop if not covering an entire landscape spanning the skies of just how the Royal managed to slip right pass our defenses. They're even other more sane Servitors there. The innate ability to be invisible to the very foe you are meant to fight, it's a terrifying thing.
But one thing has caught my eye.
Kilo has been consistent throughout every finding. Using the most dangerous creatures known as his own pack mules and shopping buddies. The scanning if he's a hybrid is what catapulted the mass findings of our foe. From every walk of the Hierarchy. Like damn. But the scanning of him being a hybrid should be much faster than this. "EDEN. Scan for the mask fittings and outliners for all of the outfits of every ruler of The Hierarchy." I state and within seconds...the scanning came to an immediate close.
Every stomach had dropped once it revealed of what came next to Kilo's collage of pictures at the festival and what came next to him.
Lumin is gobsmacked and empathetic.
Nina's speechless.
Caesar is completely pale.
Jo is visibly shocked.
I'm about to have a breakdown.
"Royalty?! He's fucking Royalty?!!!" roared one of the cleanest speaking Hybrids within the facility, surprisingly it's the language professor. "Not just any royal, but the very top of the Hierarchy." said a student, part of the discipline committee. Everyone was speaking upon one another, Yumi and Aoi had ran out and come back with medicine, snacks and drinks. Lumin is now looking to me as I'm sinking into my seat, hurricanes of thoughts just storming into my name, I'm hearing the kind of ringing that can make ears bleed that is accompanied with bells and just noise.
I rarely slip up if ever if you ask the others of my company be it accomplices or my friends. And when I do, no matter how bad, I own up to it and take full responsibility of my fuck-up.
I then begin to think back...to when I found him, and there's a report of all of the older, veteran Hybrids had gone on a mission to take on The Celestials as we have finally found out one of their hideouts. Professor Horatius was on that mission. The report states that the top brass, The King of The Celestials. Had escaped.
It's outright pandemonium in this place. Everyone within the room, is going nuts. There is not one person within the War Room that is even the slightest bit calm about this revelation.
The sounds of the freaking out of every person and thing within Estelle's walls is just being muted as I am having a mental breakdown. The sounds of my friends, who undoubtedly noticed what's happening to me and are undoubtedly trying to bring me back to earth. Only to find out that I've become deaf to them.
Why do I always have to be fucking right?!
That sentence is rolling over and over and over again as sight has completely shut down at this point.
My body has shut down.
I'm trapped in my own mind.
