Scarlett’s POV
I sat on one of the bathmats as I watched the boys struggle to climb out of the bath, it was a little funny as they slipped and fell on one another. When they all finally made it out of the bath, they grabbed towels and dried themselves off as well as me. I noticed that my wolf was acting more relaxed around him, that can not happen. He’s just portending to be nice so we stay but the real him is just under the seams and will show when he doesn’t need us anymore.
“You do remember that were not meant to fall for him” I watched as she thought about it for a second before she said.
“Yes, and I know, I am making it seem like I have trusted him, don’t worry ok” I let out a small sigh as she smiled at me.
“Ok, thank you” At the moment that’s all the confirmation I needed to be reassured.
I spaced out and let her do whatever she thinks will make him think we’ve trusted him. I didn’t care at the moment because I needed the rest for now so I can get ready to run away from this problem and take care of another one. The big problem that has painted itself in my mind, that problem is that he probably has found and captured my one and only friend I have. The sad thing is, is that she doesn’t know anything about what I actually do for a living, I have only told her lies which is sad and makes me a bad friend.

It has been a week and three days so far and tonight I plan on leaving while everyone’s asleep, plus I have the perfect opportunity since he left one of the windows open so I can jump out. So, all I have to do is wait and not give away my plan. The best thing is that my ribs are practically fully healed which will make it better and easier to run and sneak away.
I have waited a few hours until I could hear soft snores from the lounge room and his bedroom. Rushing up and quickly jumping out the window I ran fast into the forest then shifted back. It hurt but not as bad as it did before so that’s good. My wolf jumped in joy that our plan worked and was happy that we were going back to our normal life, but we would have more caution. It felt nice being back in my human body and I could take a deep breath without it hurting and I could do everything I normally could again without the pain appearing. I roughly summed up that everything would be finished healing in a few days. Also, the stitches had been taken out because the wounds had healed.
Walking for a few hours finally got me to my little town that connected to the city. Running the rest of the way to my house I made sure no one saw me or hears me. Opening the door, I rushed about and found the duffle bag that was on the floor that’s now full of clothes, then I find my way to my wardrobe and remove the small wall. It has a bag hidden they’re that hides all my fighting clothes and equipment, and my assassin stuff inside. I also found another bag behind the other one and inside was a stash of money that I have kept until I really need it and now, I think is a good time to use it. I stashed my mask that was still on my face into one of the bags and grabbed a random perfume bottle because I ran out of my spray that hides my sent.
Walking out I headed to a hotel and once it was in my sight, I sprayed myself quickly before walking in, then put it back in my bag. I walked up to the check-in and asked for a room then paid for the room, taking the small plastic card and went into my room. Tomorrow I will get my weapons bag and then check in with Mike to see when my next fight is and who its against. My main job is being a street fighter and, in some areas, if you're good enough you go to a huge championship kind of thing. That’s pretty much how I started out and then I got a phone call from someone who wanted me to become an assassin and or bounty hunter because I could kill the good the bad and the innocent. I mean seriously who wouldn’t want to do that and get paid a good sum of money.
Collapsing on the bed I groaned and rolled over on my back, looking up at the ceiling I thought “I wonder what he’ll do when he realises, I am gone” I don’t care that much I just want to know when I can go out and not get caught by him or his fellow pack members. “Oh well, guess that can wait till tomorrow”.

When I woke up, I looked over at the nightstand to see what the clock says and saw that the time was 5 am. Groaning I stood up and went into the bathroom to take a quick shower then change into clean clothes that should smell like the perfume that covers my sent. I left the hotel to grab my other bag that has all of my weapons in it. I snatched the perfume from my bag and stuffed it in my pocket in case I need it. Running inside I find the small hatch that’s on the floor and open it to greedily snatch my bag, slamming the hatch down I quickly walk back making sure I don’t leave my sent anywhere.
I make it back to the hotel and rush inside my room to throw my bag on the floor and unzip it to look through all of my weapons, making sure they are all there. Looking at all my weapons brings a small smile to my face. Remembering all the fun moments I have had with them and some of the bad, but most of all I am remembering all of the pained and horrified faces that have fallen victim to me, it brings me a small amount of joy. I zipped the bag back up and shoved it under the bed to make sure no one found it. I then went back to sleep even though there wasn’t much point in doing so.
Sooner then I liked light flooded into the room waking me up, opening my eyes I get up and stretch hearing a few pops and cracks from my stiff bones and muscles which felt good to loosen them up. Walking into the kitchen I made myself a cup of coffee and fix myself something for breakfast. After that I trudged my way into the bathroom, I lifted my top up to see one set of bandages still wrapped around my side where the cut was. Taking the bandages off I saw a small amount of blood drip down but not enough to cause any problems.
I put a new bandage over the wound and my gaze wandered over to my ribs, they still looked a little miss shaped, but other than that they were fine. Letting out a sigh I pulled my top back down and sat on the couch in the small living room, I turned on the tv to see what was on and nothing interesting was on. It got to the point that it was boring me to death that my body thought it would be a good idea to sleep.
When I woke up, I felt even stiffer than before, probably from sleeping on the couch, I looked at the TV and saw that it had turned off, next I looked out the window and the sky was a nice bright blue with some fluffy white clouds floating about. I thought that it might be the same day but soon realised I was wrong.
“You slept throughout the day and night, it's now the next day in the afternoon” My wolf informed me, with a little chuckle here and there.
“What are you chuckling about?”
“While you were sleeping you would twitch or move, and you would nearly fall off the couch it was amusing” I rolled my eyes at her and sat up.
“Glad you found it amusing”.
Standing up I tried to get rid of the stiffness, but nothing worked. I realised that there was no more pain in my ribs, so I lifted my top up and saw that they had finished healing. Rubbing my ribs, I felt how normal and not crooked or broken they were and smiled happily. I then took off the bandages and saw that there was only a scar left. My smile grew and I ran to the bathroom to have a shower and to change into my street fighting clothes which consisted of a black sports bra, black crop top, black shorts that had white seams, black foot wraps and hand wraps and after the fight I would slip on a black jumper, ankle black and white shoes and black leggings.
I also have two hidden knives because most of the time you can use weapons and some of the time you can only have them as a last resort, then hardly any of the time you can’t use weapons at all. Leaving the hotel, I walked through backstreets to find the little street fighting cage that has seats around the outside so people can watch and even place bets to who they think will win. I see Mike waiting at the door for me to arrive and I jogged over to him and when I was next to him, he gave me a small quick hug which made me laugh because he was being more cheerful than usual.
