Causality 1-52: October 29th, 1929: A young upstart lawyer called Prefect, attempts to resurrect his failing career as an attorney in New York State by taking on an alleged crime lord. Tom Clive, a suspected mob boss, is the prime suspect in the butchering of a young waitress killed to appease a dark overlord, in a diner situated in downtown Manhattan. Prefect's life takes a turn for the worst as the trial is seized control of by an unknown benefactor of Clive's. Prefect is forced to fight against a mysterious assailant after he is framed for a crime he didn't commit, bringing him face to face with the monster himself...
