Just a few minutes after Morkana gave that order, two guards with traditional golden Fafnirian armor escorted the Flamewings to meet the Alfraus.

Morkana: “Good to see you again. You are surprisingly on time.”

Morkana’s voice had more sadness and anger than sarcasm on it, and everyone noticed it.

Morkana looked at the small girl, and like Flamewing she had brown hair and tanned skin, but another trait that she had that made the empress feel disgust was her blue eyes. Those were the same blue eyes of the woman that stole her fiance, and those eyes were on the face of an innocent girl that didn’t know of this drama. (35)

Flamewing noticed the small boy next to Morkana and immediately realized that his sins were bigger than what he had thought. This is what Morkana meant when she said he ruined everything: he abandoned his fiancee and his own son, and they waited for him. The shame inside of Flamewing was burning him alive.

Helen looked at the very tall and grim looking big breasted woman with black hair and thought she must be Miss Ex. (36)

Helen: “Daddy, is she the princess? She is so pretty like you said.” (37)

The two former lovers blushed at the innocent comment of the toddler.

Flamewing: “T-this is my daughter, Helen.” (38)

Morkana: “R-right, you told me. So, for those that don’t know, this is my son, Prince.” (39)

The young heir was trying to hide behind his mother, but he was able to see the raggedy man that was his not-father. The raggedy man smiled and waved a hand, which made Prince feel confused about his own feelings. He wanted to hug his father, but he also wanted to shout at him for being far away for so long. Prince’s focus suddenly changed to the small girl next to the raggedy man.

Helen: “Hi!”

Helen waved at Prince and was smiling widely. This made Prince awkwardly smile since this was the first time there was another kid in the palace, but then he then realized something important. She is his sister? (40)

If you want to know what everyone was thinking about Karsh, Morkana was too focused on her sadness and anger and Prince was too confused about having a sister he didn’t knew about, so they didn’t really pay too much attention to the cloaked eldritch horror standing in front of them.

Karsh: “I FEEL LIKE A THIRD WHEEL HERE.” (41)

You are important, Karsh. Also, please don’t break the fourth wall in front of other people. I am not allowed to interact directly with Morkana and Prince, and I don’t want to interact with Flamewing right now. Helen is cool, so maybe I can talk to her at some other time. (42)

OKAY.

Morkana: “Anyway, Robin will guide you to your rooms. I have a tight schedule.”

A dark skinned human woman with a suit entered in a timely manner and presented herself.

Robin: “Greetings! I will be your tour guide to the Imperial Palace, folks! La Emperatriz está ocupada y no tengo todo el día! Move move move! Andale andale andale!” (43)

Flamewing looked at Morkana and she was looking at him, but she immediately turned her face away and closed her eyes and was silently crying. He then walked with his family towards where Robin directed them to and thought about how much harm he had caused.

Flamewing: “I really am the bad guy.” (44)

As instructed by Morkana, Helen was given one of the guest rooms of the palace and Robin received orders to modify the room to be appropriate for a little girl, which meant covering every corner of the room with stuffed animals, blocking every electrical output, padding sharps corners in tables, removing any sharp objects, add walls to the bed so Helen doesn’t fall and put a safe seat on the the toilet. (45)

Flamewing on the other hand was given the storage room Morkana promised him, and while there were no spiders, the bathroom there was horrible. Flamewing would have to clean up the place and repair the plumbing himself. (46)

Dear readers, I am sorry if you feel that this story is really sad, but please, you have to understand why all of this is happening. At this moment of the story maybe you think Morkana is a monster for trying to control everything and tell her son that Flamewing is no longer his father, or maybe you think Flamewing is a fool that deserves to be punished for his mistakes. (47) The truth is more complicated than that, and I promise you that everything will make sense as the story continues, so just wait patiently because Arturo Reyes is writing this story for free and Ralte has their own schedule. The amazing Tyrant Tennenbaum presents: Flashbacks of Flamewing and Morkana.

Flamewing and Morkana were sitting on a couch and looking at the night sky. He was wearing a t-shirt and she was wearing a blouse and a skirt.

Flamewing: “So everything that exists comes from the stars?”

Morkana: “Yes, and all the stars come from a big cosmic explosion.”

Flamewing: “So, did a god make all this, or…”

Morkana: “If I tell you, will you get an existential crisis?”

Flamewing: “I think I don’t want an existential crisis right now.”

Morkana: “Fair enough. So, do you know what you want to do in the future?”

Flamewing: “Maybe travel the worlds. Eat good food and meet new friends. What about you?”

Morkana: “I have many plans and they are coming to fruition, but… I have been thinking about… us.”

Flamewing: “Yes?”Morkana: “Maybe when this whole conflict is over… we can be… a family?”

Flamewing: “Mork.”

Morkana: “I want to have a baby with you.”

Flamewing and Morkana kissed.

End of the flashback.

Tyrant: “Please, don't come back. If Morkana continues to be such an asshole I can't take this story anymore.”
