The Invasion - Earth, 2032
The Invasion was, simply put, a one-sided battle of destruction. The 'aliens' destroyed the humans, slaughtering humanity.
That day, not a single child would ever be able to sleep peacefully ever again, the massacre of their people imprinted in their brains forever.
The Invasion brought about a new era, where humans were no longer the dominant species, and they were forced to bow to the extraterrestrial beings. Those who couldn't swaIIow their pride did not survive, for this world would never cater to them again. Their reign was over. Those who accepted their fate survived, bringing about the prosperity in slaves.
Human slaves were popular, their small size and delicate limbs appealing to the majority of alien species. Their ability to crossbreed with other species attracted many researchers, scientists and collectors seeking to add rare pairings to their exhibits.
The cat-human hybrid variant were the most difficult to produce, and the most sought after. When the small time Slave Auction on Earth found Sol's existence 8 years later - hidden away in an isolated hut located somewhere on the former Mount Olympus - they jumped at the chance to give themselves recognition.
They raided the hut at night, showed no mercy to the mother, who had selfishly hidden her son away, and took the boy. He was healthy and had suffered no trauma from the war, having been born in the year after the conflict. A rare specimen indeed.
This discovery earned a positive reward from the Black Planet, taking form of a magnificent ship from an elite armada named Cadence. The armada that Cadence had come from was one of the deadliest at the time, Tears of Heaven.
And thus, the existence named Solarace, triggered the Butterfly Effect.
