My parents took time to spell our names the way they sound in english and yet I've been called a multitude of other names except my name OTL >.> Why must people add or subtract letters? What good does it do for anyone??!!

I would've assumed your name, at least how you spelled it would be pretty straightforward. If it makes you feel any better, though, I get people who mess up my last name, too. Well, in addition to the motorcycle joke that every single person who makes thinks is witty and original.
