"You are in love with me?"

He looked at me, " Yes," he grabbed my hands. "I am falling in love with you, Allison. Your goofy smile is one reason. You have a wonderful personality. Allison, you are an overall wonderful person, and I want to be with you." He moves one of his around my neck, "Ally?"

My mind was all over the place, "Michael," I said grabbing his arm. "I'm in love with you, too."

He leaned into me and was inches away from my lips, "Ally, I..."

Suddenly, there was a loud banging at the door. "Michael?" I heard a female call from the door.

Michael pulled away from my face, and his eyes became open with alarm. "Shit, Ally, I am sorry."

"Why? Who is that?"

"My older sister," he said walking towards the door. 

"You have a sister?"

"Yeah," he said opening up the door. "Leah? What are you doing here?"

"Grandma called, and she said that Mom kicked you out again."

"Yeah, but Grandma got me this apartment, so I am fine."

"Oh okay," she said walking into that apartment. Her eyes landed on my presence, "Oh, I didn't know you had a friend over."

"Leah, this is Allison. She is a classmate, and we are about to start our science project." He lied to her, and I didn't know why he did.

So, I thought that I could leave so they can have time together. "Michael, I can leave, so you could spend time with Leah."

"Ally, you don't have to leave."

"Michael, if you want, I can back," Leah said.

"No, it's okay. I can just catch the bus or call my mom."

"No," Michael started. "Leah, I will be right back. I'm going to take Ally home."

"Alright, I'm going to stop by Mom's house," Leah said turning around to head back to her car. 

"Michael, seriously, I can call my mom or catch a bus home."

"You heard Leah. I'll see her when I get back."

I grabbed my back by his front door, "Alright, let's go."

We got into his car and started to drive to my house.
