Really, it was inevitable that people would start to learn about Avi's condition. She was getting ready to return to work tomorrow, and eventually she'd need to go out for groceries. Friends and family would be the most difficult people to deal with, especially considering she was no longer recognizable as her former self. How would she even go about explaining who she was and what happened to her?
There was one way to find out. A quick discord call to a friend might give her opportunity to practice her explanation.
Or it might lead to further confusion and frustration. As it turned out, there was little need to explain to Lance what had just happened to her; After just a few words exchanged, he got to experience it firsthand.
