With an annoyed grunt, the prince gave up and loosened his thighs around Edgar. His ice-blue eyes knew their charm too, but no wouldn’t convince Edgar otherwise. Not when something seemed so important that even sex wasn’t convincing. Augustin slipped a bit away from Edgar, who was relieved, but also a bit disappointed. The young Earl turns to his princes. Strikes the blonde strings out of his face. Edgar knew he’d do anything for his Darling. But he also knew that he could never go as far as the prince expected him to go.
“I’m supposed to go with your father, Augustin...” The blond strands rocked to the rhythm of the prince’s nod. He had already understood it so far, he was not quite so intoxicated with his hormones, so that he no longer understood Edgar. But he wouldn’t mention it. The younger one knew that he had to irritate his sunshine often enough, therefore he should not get angry about such small things.
“I’m supposed to lead the war...” Now the young Earl looked down, the brown curls concealed his face, but Augustin knew this gesture only too well. The last time he saw it was when Edgar unwillingly killed a rabbit while hunting. Of course, Augustin was very happy about it, as it was a discipline to be good at hunting for a King and Earls. But for Edgar it was the sheer horror. The gentle Earl preferred to be in tune with animals rather than to kill them without thinking about their life. After all, the little rabbits weren’t a threat to them, so why kill them? But when King Konstantin wanted to hunt, everyone had to follow.
Now Augustin took Edgar’s face in his tender hands. As gently as possible, he stroked over the cheek of the elder. It was a new situation for the prince, usually he was the one who needed Edgar’s supporting hands. But now his sunshine needed him. The whole day had been a complete chaos. First Edgar came back, which tore Augustin more than willingly out of his concept, Daphne died and left behind a child, and now all of a sudden, the holy trees were on fire. Something was very wrong and both men still couldn’t fully understand what consequences this would have.
“Edgar you won’t have to kill anyone, I’ll take care of you!” Edgar looked into the otherwise cold blue eyes, which were now filled with love. Augustin was more than a bad lover, but Edgar just couldn’t resist him and hoped that the prince would keep his promise. After a consenting nod of the brown-haired, he was pulled into a firm hug. Until Augustin was startled, and Edgar almost had a heart attack.
“Let’s get to the cliff. I want to make up for something!” The young Earl was just snorting. If the younger one wanted to do something good, it was usually through sex and the cliffs had been used for that, more than once. But at the moment Edgar preferred everything over thinking about the war or what had happened in the last few hours.
“If you promise me something, then yes.” Augustin’s curiosity was immediately aroused, and with a zealous nod he pushed Edgar closer. Hoping to get an answer like that.
“I’m first this time!” With one sentence, Edgar threw the younger one on the bed and disappeared through the heavy wooden door towards the stable. Augustin was confused at first and lay still on the bed. Until it hit him like a lightning bolt, and he sprinted after Edgar in a hurry.
“You’ll never be first, Edgar!” The blonde youth shouted through the nested corridors of the castle. Even if Edgar had saddled his horse first, he didn’t know what Augustin had done with the track while Edgar was away from Nefarious. With a winning smile he turned into the big yard, only to see Edgar galloping out of sight with his horse.
“Just wait till you see my surprises, Love.”
