See, in my thumbnails I ended up drawing 22 pages, but I thought that's wayyyy too much for me to dump in one month if I wanna keep myself sane and going steady, but there's not really enough pages to separate it into two episodes. So what did I do? I separated it into two episodes.
So this month I've uploaded the first 13 pages as seen here, and the other 9 will come at a later date. I haven't yet decided if those 9 other pages will count as next month's upload. But if I don't wanna have another hiatus in December, I think I'll just make it next month's upload just to go easier on myself. We'll just have to see how far along I am by the time this goes up and I'll inform you all then.
Btw, I'm REALLY happy with how a lot of this art turned out. There are maybe only 2 drawings I wish I did differently, but even those don't bother me all that much. I honestly believe my art is reaching a very comfortable (and dare I say... professional? 😳) quality. I know I've still got a long ways to go in some regards, but I think it's ok to celebrate this progress! Lemme know what you guys think, I'm excited to get some feedback on all this.
Nice to see more members of the club interact with Rin! Also, I like the fact that Rin is constantly doubting herself, as this kind of reflects your original intent with the character: having Rin trying to avoid the club. Another thing I liked is the questionable morality of the club (We're not heroes, we're vigilantes). Yo and that panel where we see Rin's hair flow... beautiful, just beautiful
Rin Nizu is a lonely high school girl. She wishes she could have a cat, a friend, parents who are actually present in her life, anything! But after getting powers from a cat and meeting the vigilante group Cat Club, it seems like she might have a chance at not being alone anymore. The only question is, how far is she willing to go...?
