CASSIAN

After helping Flora with her brother I passed the day thinking on my room, the night arrived pretty quickly, I was willing to sleep, but I remembered the comittee's duties and that I had to patrol with Vanessa.

"Vanessa, huh?" After all the things that happened before, it would be rough, but there was no option, right? It would be just a couple hours, it shoulnd't be that hard, at least she should know I don't want to talk about what happened.

Still, all the things she said before, and all the things I said, what Keller said, it was all an asspain to treat with it now, but surely treating with it later would be worse, and now it was something even I could fix, or at least I liked to think like that, I'm not someone who likes to play around with the people, and I also don't like to be played by someone.

After putting my uniform again on, I left the bedrooms and walked my way to the comittee's office, it was silent, as ever as I heard before, coming from a school. The moon light came through the window enlightening the hallway, there was no one to see, no teachers, no students, no anyone. It was just me.

As I approached to the room I saw the light coming from the inside, meaning there was someone in already. I knocked the door before open it, "go on." It was Vanessa, she was already prepared for patroling, so I was. "Are you ready?" She asked, "I am."

We both left the room and started patrolling, it was supposed that it should be just a couple hours, but after the problem from the other day I was worried about Vanessa changing the schedule to talk with me, all I wanted was to leave as soon as possible.

"About the other day," there she was, "I want to apologize." That took me aback, I'd never expected her to apologize, actually the one who had something to apologize for was me, I was the one who ignored her and leave her there without answer after being mean, but I wasn't going to do it, after all I told here to mind her own business and leave me alone.

"Leave me alone" huh? Why'd didn't I tell that to Flora too, "is ok," so that should be everything, or at least is what I thought first. "Cassian, there is something I want to ask you, if is not a problem, could you answer with the truth?" It hadn't ended, she wouldn't give up, "if is something I don't like I won't answer, if it is keep it to yourself, but if it isn't, go on. 

She took a moment after my words, maybe she was thinking if the question was woth of it, but then she talked. "What did you do to me the other day?" "Are you talking about my mana leaking?" Even if that wasn't true, that should be enough. "Do you really call it by that name? What I did was mana leaking, but you didn't, it was something more denese, it was like being trapped in the sand, so you can't tell me it was something as simple as mana leaking from your body."

"You are right, that wasn't mana leaking from my body, it was me changing the pressure of the air to make it more dense and harder for you to breathe, also the air in your body was changing it's density and smashing both of your lungs from the inside, that's what I did, sounds possible?" 

She was stunned, "you couldn't done that." "That's true, I didn't, but if it wasn't that, what else could I done if not letting my mana leak?" The always serious Vanessa seemes to be annoyed by my comments, but she didn't need to know what I did, no one needed in deed.

"Fin do as you want, but you need to understand I won't let you get out of the comittee, understand?" I nodded.

The following hours the time passed away slowly, we didn't talk any more after that so it was a little bit boring, but I was good with it, anyhting was better than being interrogated by her. She was after my abilites after all, because it was pretty obvious that her goal was to grow stonger, and in order to do that learning new skills, but I wasn't someone who could teach her, even showing her my skills would be a waste of time for me.

"Let's get separate, and get together again in a hour, if you find anything weird don't hesitate and contact me, please"
