The professional dragon rider began to escort the new recuits into the dragon sancuary(a place where new riders tame their dragons). "Now before you can become dragon riders, its important for you to bond with your dragon." said the professional. They continue "There are three types of dragons: drakes, wyverns, and dragons. Its important for one to understand their dragon for each individual has their own personality". One by one, the professional called for each of the new riders. Eventually, Eren is called. He stands foward into the sancuary and begins to search for his partner. Little does he know he is being watched by a ice drake. The creature charges toward Eren in a manner to how ice drakes ambush their prey. Eren quickly braces for impact, but the drake stops right in front of Eren. He takes a closer look and quickly recognizes this particular ice drake. "Its you. I never expect to see you after all these years." said Eren. The ice drake looked at Eren and recognized the scar on his face. "Seems this one likes you. So what are you going to name him?" said the professionl rider. Eren responded "Glacious. That sounds fitting".

After many exams, training sessions, and broken bones, Eren and Glacious became official members of the DRA. Despite all of their struggles, they were ready for simple tasks for low ranking members. Their first task was to stop a robbery nearby. The duo made their way to the site just as the theives exited the building with bags of gold. A chase ensue with Glacious running as fast as he can. The ice drake gets closer to the vehicle as Eren prepares to jump for it. Before he could leap, a loud roar was heard and a massive shadow can be seen behind the barrier that guards the city. "What the hell is that" shouted one of the theives. They looked in terror as they saw a massive Shadow dragon begin to tear apart the barrier that guarded the city. With its powerful claws, its tears open the barrier and fire a great ball of purple flame at the vehicle. As Eren tries to rescue the thieves from the wreckage, Glacious fires his ice breath at the large dragon. Enraged, the Shadow dragon fires a second fireball at the ice drake. He watches as the shadow dragon flies away with large cuts in its hand from the barrier trying to close. As the theif is sent to the hospital, Eren and Glacious began to question the reason for the attack. Before they could process what happened, they were called back by the DRA for breifing. With their first mission complete, the duo head back to base. Little do they know, their journey had only just begun.
