A loud voice came from some bubbles floating in the air. Gray seemingly just like the other ,,chosen ones" was confused by what was happening.

,,To do so you must try and survive in this empty space free from any other civilization."

The voice continued their introduction to this game they were made to play.

Gray remembers walking back home from school and now they stood in a stone circle on the ground with three others.

,,Of course I won't be making this too easy on you guys so there will be a few rules to this."

Gray took a look at the person in front of him.

A mouse Hybrid in her 20s.

She had shoulder length brown hair, vibrant red eyes decorated with a pair of glasses and a neat outfit.

She looked up at the bubbles talking down to them.

Perhaps Gray should also listen afterall the rules might be important.

,,Rule number one you must stream what you're doing to us 24 hours a week."

This almost made Gray give off a chuckle. They simply couldn't imagine explaining their younger self how he'd gotten in that kind of situation.

,,Rule number two you won't get out of this arrangement no matter what you do."

,,Wait so" suddenly one of the others spoke up ,,you're making us play your little game for the rest of our lives?"

The voice came from the only human contestant of this group.

Rightfully so she sounded upset.

,, Exactly!" The voice from above sounded exited.

,, Don't worry I'm not that cruel. I will give each of you the chance to request something as help and give you some starting supplies."

The human pushed her purple braid out of her face obviously unsatisfied with that answer but chose to stay silent.

,,I'll leave you to it then."

The bubbles slowly rose higher up in the air and opened a portal.

,, If you open your communicators you'll find another help on how to get started and my contact under ,, Royal" for when you know what to request."

Gray looked at his communicator where the previously mentioned necessities were added.

A cough from his right caught his attention.

It was the last person in their group in this case a pink bird hybrid.

,,Now that we're stuck in this unfortunate situation I think it would be best to get to know each other."

The winged man looked around the group.

,,It definitely would be."

Gray chose to speak up first.

,,My name is Gray. I go by he/they and I'm a Giraffe Hybrid"

He tapped his antenna and his neck to show their Giraffe features.

,,Nice to meet you." The human smiled directly at him as she continued.

,, I'm Penny and just a human but I got a cool hair cut! My pronouns are she/her."

Penny cheerily introduced herself.

,,Well that does make you a bit more special doesn't it?"

The brown haired hybrid now joined the conversation.

,,The name is Gigi and I'm a mouse Hybrid. My pronouns are She/her just like Penny."

As she finished everyone's attention shifted over to the last one needed of an Introduction.

,,I go by Floris and I'm a bird Hybrid or Flamingo Hybrid to be exact. My pronouns are he/him."

Floris pushes up his glasses as he ends his sentence and thinks for a second.

,,We should prepare for the night if we want to survive. Who knows what's out there."

The group bids in agreement.

,,Royal told us about starting supplies why don't we look at those and see what we can do."

Gray chimed back in again and made everyone look inside their inventory.

,,Did all of us get the same supplies?"

Penny asks as she pulls out her things.

In her case it's a few lanterns, bread and some cloth.

,,Looks like he changed things up a bit"

Gigi said as she presented a stone axe and a few seeds to us.

,,That's actually quite helpful."

Floris said as he pulled out a stone pickaxe.

,,What did you get Gray?"

Penny asked the hybrid as she stuffed her things back inside her inventory with little struggle.

,,I have some potatoes and a bunch of water." Gray took out two bottles and shook them lightly to let the others see.

,, We should make sure to make a water filter and plant our crops before we run out."

Gray notes as they look around the grass field.

The only thing other than nature and it's plants around is animals.

Gray also swears to have seen one of these monsters that usually only get shown in videos or in the news deep in the forest ahead of them.

,, Of course, however now we should make sure to have some sort of protection before night falls upon us."

Floris looks at the freckled member Infront of him then follows their eyes to the creatures in the forest.

,,We don't know what will happen in the dark."

As Floris said so he leaned in to quickly whisper into Gray's ear.

,, Let's not make them aware of the monsters yet. The fear might slow us down."

Is all he said before distancing himself.

,,If it's alright with you Floris and I could go get stone and wood and you figure out what else to do?"

Gigi takes out her axe and gestures towards the trees next to the stone platform they started on.

Since no one has any objections we start the work.

The mouse lady goes to her trees and Floris makes his way over to a small cave nearby.

Meanwhile Penny and Gray agreed to get a small field ready to be their temporary camp.

While they rip out some of the tall grass Penny has an idea.

,,Why don't we try out that streaming thing Royal is making us do."

Gray watches Penny as she opens her communicator and sets up some things.

,,Might as well since we'll have to do it eventually this week, right?"

Her green eyes dart around the screen of the communicator in fron of her when she darts up from the floor.

,, Are you set to go?"

Gray follows Penny and focuses on her partly braided bangs as it swings around from the sudden movement.

,,Yep! I actually used to stream but never thought I'd get back to it."

Penny paced around for a few seconds before she finally looked at Gray and hit start.

,,Hey, there! Penny here live to entertain you from wherever the hell Royal abandoned us."

This made the tall hybrid chuckle slightly. It seems as though the atmosphere wouldn't be as harsh as expected.

The two of them kept working while Penny streamed the whole thing cracking jokes and encouraging Gray saying he's doing amazing.

It doesn't take long and they have a big enough field set up to do whatever they please without having a bunch of tall grass get in the way.

,,Get a campfire"

Penny reads out loud from her chat.

,,Sounds cozy and we could use it to cook and warm up."

The two then got up to gather some things for their campfire.

They choose to also set a dedicated place by putting some bigger stones in the ground underneath it.

,,It's actually getting kind of cold now so it's quite fitting."

Gray rubs their hands and holds them towards the fire.

,,I still got that cloth. Though I think we'll use them to sleep."

,,That would've been my idea aswell."

A male voice from behind them gets their attention.

,,Good to know we're on one wavelength then."

Floris chuckles in agreement but pulls a grimace when he looks closer at the two.

,,You should wash up it looks like you've played in filth."

Gray gasps dramatically before he answers the feathered man.

,,We worked hard and this is what we get."

He pretends to wipe away some tears.

,,I know, I know I probably should also clean up a bit. We don't want to get our only cloth dirty."

This makes all three looks down at themselves to see how bad they've dirtied themselves while working.

,,I guess you're right. This is probably also a good time to end my stream."

Penny pulls out her communicator once again and waves goodbye in her webcam.

Next up they make their way to a nearby later source to get clean. While doing so they start to talk about all kinds of things.

When they're done they return to Gigi all by herself next to the fire. Somehow cleaner than the other three.

She calls them to her and they end their day on a light note falling asleep on the cloths after they've put out the fire.
