He sits up and brushes his pink bangs to the side.

Gray next to him seems to be in deep slumber just like the others.

Floris sighs as he slowly stands up and looks around the area. After thinking for a bit the avian then goes towards the lake they've washed up at.

His communicator blinks up In front of him as Floris looks through the guides again.

Maybe I should stream right now and get it over with' he flicks a stone through the water and takes a deep breath.

He's live. ,,Well, hello I guess?" He awkwardly laughs to himself.

"I'm not really sure what I'm doing but I thought I try out this streaming thing." The hybrid flicks another stone through the lake.

,,The others are still asleep."

Floris says before he continues rambling about whatever comes to mind.

Eventually he also remembers that he has a chat that he could talk to instead of just talking to himself.

He raises his eyebrow as he read the chat.

,Turn around'

,run!'

,He's so dead lol'

,You might want to look behind you'

That's when he hears it the disgusting sound of multiple legs moving around getting louder and louder. Obviously coming towards him and at an alarming speed at that.

Floris looks behind him and pulls out his pickaxe in shock.

A spider about the size of him came running towards the bird hybrid.

,,WHY IS IT SO BIG"

He screams out as he backs away. The spider however follows him as he keeps running away.

At some point Floris considers that chat might help.

,That's what she said'

,He was so young..'

,Run bird Boy run'

Turns out chat definitely wasn't helpful.

Floris however knows he has to do something and decides to try and fight back.

He does a quick turn and tries to ram his pickaxe into the spider.

Surprisingly the flamingo manages to wound the beast . The pickaxe cut of two of it's eight legs which slows it down.

As much as Floris was ready to fly away now though he did know he wouldn't be able to work in peace knowing that thing was out there so he kept running.

The avian tried the same attack again but missed entirely.

As Floris turned to keep running be almost fell down a cliff but being a bird saved himself by flying over the other side.

As he was debating whether or not he should try to finish off the spider an ungodly screech came from the other side.

,,Why do you move so much?!"

A woman with a heart mask stood next to the now dead spider and looked over to Floris. The woman kicked the spider down the cliff and put away her axe.

It took a bit but eventually it clicked. That voice belonged to none other than Gigi.

Why did she wear a mask? That's a question for another time.

,,Thanks for the help Gigi. How did you find me though?"

The bird hybrid quickly flew over to the masked lady.

,,When we woke up you were gone and we were kind off worried. Then we saw a notification on our communicators that you had gone live." She stopped and pointed at Floris active streaming set-up.

,,It wasn't easy tracking you down in this completely unknown place you know"

Gigi gave Floris a light glare before she turned around.

,,At least your screaming helped me out with the search." The mouse giggles but interrupts herself with a cough

,, We should be careful going out here. We don't have weapons or a place to hide in."

,,Yeah, I actually just went to the lake we went to yesterday when I got attacked by that spider."

The two of them started walking towards the coordinates Gigi had saved on her communicator. Floris also ended the stream and the mouse hybrid took off the mask.

,,We should definitely try and finish building a house and getting protection today."

Gigi shuddered as she sped up her step Floris following right behind.

Eventually they reached their little camp and Gray jumped around their necks.

,,I'm glad you're alright! That looked terrifying."

He backed away again and looked over the two that had just come back.

After making sure they were unharmed they took another step back.

,,It was.Trust me."

Floris sternly says

,,We should speed up our work."

Gigi adds to the conversation and crosses her arms.

That's when Penny joins them.

,,We already started building a small hut."

Penny points behind herself towards an outline they build out of the wood they've gathered.

Gigi nods as she takes off her light gray jacket.

After this they all take up to their current mission.

Still terrified of the giant spider they look up cautiously at every sound that doesn't come from themselves.

Eventually the hut is finished as the sun sets. It's simple but should suffice as a protection from rain, cold and any other surprises that may come towards them.

There would also be just enough space for the four of them to sleep in.

They definitely will need more space for storage and living but they had to work on other things before they could afford such luxuries.

Gray put down some dried grass on the floor and then spread out a cloth.

For the next few weeks or even months this might be the comfiest way of sleeping they'd be getting.

,, Let's eat something before going to sleep"

Penny called from outside their hut.

Gray and Floris stepped outside to join the girls who had lit the fireplace and roasted some potatoes.

,,We've been working so much we forgot to eat."

Penny held a finished potato towards the hybrids that had just come outside.

,,It might be for the better though. Considering the limited food we got."

Gray sighed as they took it and handed the food to Floris.

,, Tomorrow we can split up different tasks now that we have a save place to return to."

The brown haired mouse handed over another potato as she took a bite out of her own.

,,We also shouldn't forget the rules that the God gave us. Who knows what will happen if we don't follow suit."

Floris sits down between Penny and Gigi getting comfortable.

A short silence falls upon them.

,,It's going to be alright. Look at all the progress we made already!"

Gray confidently cheers everyone on as he takes a seat next to Penny.

Immediately after they take a huge bite of their potato forgetting it had just been grilled.

He yelps a bit and stretches out his tongue exposing it's blue colour.

,, Careful there Gray."

Penny laughs as she pats the Giraffe hybrids back.

The evening finishes on a lighter note as they finish eating.

As soon as they finish their meal they all tuck into their make shift bed.

It doesn't take as long as the previous night to fall asleep after they've all bid each other good night.
